Mid-Peninsula Station Tank 6

This project includes the replacement of an underground reinforced concrete tank located within an established residential neighborhood. The 3.05 Million Gallon tank will connect to the existing distribution network through newly installed ductile iron pipe.  Hydraulic control valves and a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system will be installed to provide remote control and management of the reservoir. The site contains over three hundred trees and is limited on three sides by residential homes. There are significant site constraints for construction work and laydown areas. The project requires monitoring of mitigation measures established in the project’s CEQA document and the coordination of multiple special inspections.
