Emergency Effluent Pipe Replacement

This was an emergency design-assist project that replaced 600 feet of existing 54-inch RCP pipeline with High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe and also added instrumentation for monitoring and data acquisition. The project utilized two bypass lines to minimize the impact on the facility and avoided multiple full plant shutdowns. This project required heavy coordination with plant operations and maintenance staff. Through successful collaboration, our staff reduced the project’s impacts on multiple active and future construction project schedules.
