Immediate Repairs to Sewage Pump Station

The City of Mountain View’s Sewage Pump Station collects approximately 85 percent of the City’s wastewater and pumps it to the Palo Alto Regional Water Quality Control Plant. Tanner Pacific is providing CM and inspection services on this project which includes improvements to correct operational deficiencies, comply with current codes and standards, and enhance pump station safety. The long-term repairs consist of the replacement of four sets of steel discharge pipes, related buried piping, an inlet slidegate, a concrete structure with ventilation system, and electrical controls. TPI will also perform startup, testing, and commissioning for all electrical, mechanical, and piping system; site restoration; and a temporary sewer bypass.
