Force Main Corrosion Repair: Phase 2
This project addressed corrosion repairs on the western force main between the Newark Pump Station and the Alvarado Wastewater Treatment Plant. It included the refurbishment and replacement of access manways, air release valves and blow offs. New steel components were welded and all new and existing components were sandblasted and coated. Biological control measures/BMPs and site restoration were implemented and access improvements were made to three sites.
