Turlock component of the North Valley Regional Recycled Water Program (NVRRWP)

Located in Stanislaus County, this component of the NVRRWP pipeline is part of a larger initiative to transport treated recycled water to the Del Puerto Water District and provide agricultural customers with a reliable source of irrigation water. The pipeline will connect the Modesto Component upstream to the City of Modesto’s Jennings Road Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project includes the construction of over seven miles of 42-inch diameter steel pipeline and appurtenances, 3 microtunnels, roadway restoration, a flow meter vault, flow control vault, and associated mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment. A section of pipeline is being installed under an existing wetland via microtunneling.
