recycled water

Our staff combines state-of-the-art technology, professional experience and innovative methods to develop solutions to our clients' most difficult challenges.

Recycled water provides a significant water source, especially to a water-starved California.  Produced through additional extensive treatment of municipal wastewater, this source can prove extremely useful during drought conditions.

These systems generally are added on to the existing treatment processes at wastewater treatment facilities and include clarification/sedimentation, filtration and disinfection.  If higher quality water is required, the filtration process will include granular or fabric type filters and then a micro-filtration with reverse osmosis. The disinfection can be provided through ozonation and/or ultra-violet disinfection.

All of these processes, like the main treatment processes, require extensive electrical and chemical systems to manage the production of recycled water.  They also include programmed control systems that monitor, adjust and report system components and parameters to the overall control monitoring program.

Our staff of professionals understands how to work with all the different stakeholders on these complicated projects to create a cooperative working environment focused on the success of the project.
