Regional Environmental Sewer Conveyance Upgrade (RESCU)

The RESCU project is comprised of three components. 1) The Front of Plant improvements which includes the construction of a receiving lift station, a headworks, flow diversion structure, odor control, electrical facilities and a storm water pump station. 2) The installation of a Gravity Pipeline to replace the 48-inch and 54-inch force main segments between Bair Island and the Silicon Valley Clean Water treatment plant. 3) The rehabilitation and renovation to three pump stations and one force main.

Tanner Pacific, Inc. is serving as the owner’s advisor, providing quality assurance services, and assisting the project team with document management, programmatic development of construction schedules and staging plans, review of piles and deep shaft designs for constructability, review of approaches to protect existing structures and facilities, and preparing an independent cost estimate for the second stage of the project.
